Qa Lead
Partners Personnel Management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Create and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and regression testing
- Coordinate and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and business needs
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met
- Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Oversee manual and automated testing efforts
- Ensure timely execution of testing cycles and release validation
- Monitor QA metrics and provide regular status reports to management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- 1-3+ years of leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QC)
- Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
