Laundry Attendant

Job Title

Responsibilities:

Responsible for garment sorting and finishing to include utilizing steam tunnel, pressing equipment and replacing buttons

Responsible for sorting of garments by classification and color. Finish all garments to a quality standard

Maintain all quality and efficiency standards

Monitor and maintain all safety requirements

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Ensure equipment malfunctions are detected and remedied

Other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending Must be able to stand and walk for majority of a normal shift Six (6) months of experience in finishing/processing garments with experience on steam tunnel, pressers, and shirt units preferred
