We are in search of a Psychiatrist to enhance our integrated healthcare team. This position involves diagnosing, prescribing, and overseeing psychiatric treatment, while working closely with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure a holistic, patient-focused approach. The psychiatrist will operate in alignment with our organizational policies and procedures, contributing to the mission of a Patient-Centered Medical Home .

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations for patients experiencing emotional, mental, or behavioral disorders.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and engage in treatment plan discussions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
• Facilitate appropriate referrals for testing, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Order and review laboratory tests and other medical procedures as necessary.
• Deliver effective treatment aimed at achieving remission of psychiatric symptoms.
• Educate patients and their families about psychiatric conditions and available treatment options.
• Participate in Peer Review and Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Supervise treatment modalities executed by psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Mentor and instruct residents, medical students, and allied health professionals.
• Provide care to patients with respect and compassion, without imposing personal beliefs.

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with a focus on Psychiatry.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid Medical License in the State of Florida.
• Current DEA Registration Certificate.
• Ability to maintain hospital privileges at referral hospitals, if necessary.
• Dedication to ongoing education to maintain licensure.
