Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
• Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses including dysphagia, cognitive decline, CVA, and Parkinson's disease
• Perform Video Swallow Studies as part of dysphagia management
• Manage a caseload of approximately three to six patients per day
• Participate in onsite orientation on day one with support from other SLPs in the system as needed
• Clock in and out at the facility per department requirements

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience recommended
• Experience in both acute inpatient and outpatient speech-language pathology settings
• Proficiency in dysphagia management and Video Swallow Studies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating neurological conditions such as CVA and Parkinson's disease
• Familiarity with cognitive-communication disorders and related interventions
• Prior experience in a hospital or health system environment
