As a member of our submarine advanced development test team you will… Evaluate developmental submarine technologies at the algorithmic, functional, user interface, and end‑to‑end system level, enabling decision makers to make informed choices on the future direction of the Navy's submarine tactical systems. Your duties will include: Determining appropriate analysis methodology and measures of performance, including exploring new approaches Using thorough data analytics and systems engineering techniques and applying relevant operational and instructional expertise such as submarine mission operations and employment, sound propagation, and target motion analysis principles to perform analysis and draw conclusions Communicating test methodologies and results to sponsors and external organizations Planning, executing, and directing in‑lab test events at integrator facilities Collaborating with a community of submarine system experts that include researchers, developers, engineers, and current and former Fleet personnel Coordinate, plan and execute occasional sea test events with developers, integrators, testers, and Navy laboratories.
