Field Service Technician

No two days look the same at EMS. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be out in the field every day visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities, performing medical gas compliance and environmental testing, and building real relationships with customers who count on you. If you like hands-on work, solving problems, and staying on the move, this is the job for you.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform medical gas compliance testing, certification, and repair services.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, manifolds, and small electronics.
• Test and certify medical gas systems and perform environmental monitoring services.
• Complete field documentation and administrative tasks accurately and on time.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree is a plus)
• Requires some relevant customer service, mechanical and/or electrical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work
• Additional accreditation and certification will be earned such as ASSE 6010, 6030, or 6040
• Experience working in healthcare environments is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
