As a Coach at Fleet Feet, you’ll be the heartbeat of our community training programs providing encouragement, motivation, and on‑site support for runners and walkers of all levels. Reporting to the Training Program Lead, you’ll guide participants through training sessions, promote safety, and help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. This role is perfect for outgoing, fitness‑minded individuals who want to give back to the running community and be part of something meaningful. No formal coaching certification required! What You’ll Do Support and encourage participants at scheduled training sessions. Assist with day‑of logistics such as warm‑ups, cool‑downs, hydration stations, and safety protocols. Provide basic tips and guidance on topics such as pacing, form, and recovery. Collaborate with the Training Program Lead to ensure smooth and enjoyable sessions. Foster a sense of community, inclusion, and camaraderie among participants. Be a visible and positive ambassador for Fleet Feet at all training events. What We’re Looking For A passion for running, walking, fitness, and building community. Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality. Comfort working with groups and individuals in a coaching/support role. Reliable and punctual with a consistent presence at training sessions.
