Electrical Journeyman

Job Description
Job DescriptionMust be qualified to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems independently. They can read blueprints, troubleshoot faults, and ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and local safety standards. [1, 2, 3]
Core Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited too:
- Installation: Safely layout, assemble, install, and wire electrical conduit, switchgear, panel boards, transformers, and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electrical circuits, motors, and control systems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all installations meet the National Electrical Code and pass local municipal inspections.
- Mentorship: Supervise, train, and provide guidance to apprentice electricians working on the same job sites.
- Planning: Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan daily crew activities.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings are standard.
