Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty

License: NMTCB or ARRT (N) required at time of hire

Certifications: BLS

Must-Have: Experience with PACS/PET

Description: The technologists in this role will cover general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies. The department also performs various therapies, including Y90s, Luthathera, and Pluvicto. Unit doses are provided daily by an outside radiopharmacy. Normal operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Other daily duties include QA, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol review. Preferred experience includes ER, Adult ICU, Phlebotomy, and clienttion planning therapy. Candidates must possess either NMTCB or ARRT (N) at the time of hire. Qualifying candidates should have experience in various nuclear medicine procedures. The daily patient age groups include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department handles a daily census of 6-10 patients. Candidates will not be required to float to an affiliate hospital unless previously agreed upon. References will be required for candidates.
