Short Description 110 N Carpenter St, Chicago, IL 60607, USA Full-time Job Description The Specialist of National Initiatives will be part of the Economic Policy and Strategy team within U.S. Finance. This role contributes to the success of the U.S. business by contributing to the market’s strategic initiatives through the development and execution of product and equipment tests. The Specialist provides accounting and financial knowledge for all new initiative deployments and works cross functionally to ensure proper execution and solutioning of business complexities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provides support and financial consulting for the development and execution of all aspects of existing and new strategic initiatives. Identifies proper accounting treatment and provides accurate and timely plan and projection information. Supports franchisees with audit requests related to previous initiatives. Collaborates with Global MHQ teams, CPAs, and Franchisees to provide System guidance for accurate Delivery Sales Accounting and Reconciliation. Engages in close collaboration with third-party vendors (UberEats/DoorDash) to improve and refine reconciliation processes. Prepares Trial Balance accounts related to initiatives and tests for quarterly approval. Establishes processes for new initiatives and solves business complexities in the execution of store construction projects. Serves as a financial business partner for various U.S. and Global cross-functional teams, including U.S. Restaurant Development, U.S. Operations, U.S./Global Technology, U.S./Global Delivery, Payments, and Treasury. Supports the Finance Supply Chain and Cash Flow teams with recurring monthly processes and deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance 0-3 years’ experience, project management experience preferred. Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence cross-functionally. Comfortable with ambiguity and developing ad-hoc analyses. Well organized and great prioritization skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and remain flexible. Strong Excel skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications. Takes initiative and demonstrates creativity in finding efficiencies. Possesses natural curiosity, asking questions when necessary to understand a situation. Capability to evaluate data in a logical manner and draw meaningful conclusions. Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $69,679.00 -$87,099.00 per year The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
