Anesthesiologist

Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals are seeking full-time Anesthesiologists to join their expanding employed group in Fairfield County, Connecticut, approximately 60 miles northeast of New York City. Both day/non-call and call positions are available, with nocturnist, part-time, and per diem scheduling options also considered. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching opportunities.

Practice Info

• Join an employed group of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs.
• Cover a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics.
• Provide 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford, and Sharon Hospitals.
• Danbury Hospital is a 371-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
• Norwalk Hospital is a 366-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
• Affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students

Compensation

• Salary Range: $390,000-$550,000 annually depending on the schedule, subspecialty, and experience.
• Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses, and malpractice coverage.
• Generous sign on bonus and relocation allowance are provided.

• Both day/non-call and call positions are available.
• Nocturnist schedule also available.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Anesthesia (required)
