Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on improving patients' strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support ongoing rehabilitation and health maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to assess physical condition and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses.
• Improve patient strength, range of motion, balance, and safety through therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Physical Therapist licensure (DORA) or compact licensure valid for Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination (October 1 through April 1) with no declinations accepted.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.

Special Considerations:

• Position is a traveler assignment covering a leave ending 5/23/26.
• Housing opportunity available in remodeled studio apartments near the hospital with utilities included.
• No pets and no deposit required for housing; availability based on assignment duration.
• Compliance with mandatory flu vaccination policy.

Scheduling:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week.
