Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a fast-paced Level 2 trauma CCU offering nights and requiring strong cardiac experience.

Job Details

• Work in the CCU (ICU) of an acute care hospital,
• Level 2 trauma center with high-acuity cardiovascular patients (excluding transplants),
• Extremely busy, fast-paced CV service line,
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, every other weekend,
• 36 hours per week over 12-hour shifts,
• Uses Cerner EMR, with transition to EPIC planned for November 2026,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (AR state or Compact/NLC) required, pending licenses not accepted,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS,
• Strong cardiac nursing experience required,
• BSN not required for this position,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility,

Additional Information

• Deliver high-acuity cardiovascular critical care nursing in a demanding, fast-paced unit,
• Facility considered the highest acuity CCU in the area,
• Candidates who were directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity Health, within the past year are not eligible; PRN employment through outside staffing firms is acceptable
