Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapy Tech/Dosimetrist supports cancer treatment plans by preparing and delivering radiation therapy treatments. This role involves collaborating with the oncology team to ensure accurate, safe, and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately according to established protocols.
• Use advanced dosimetry tools and equipment to develop precise treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment parameters as needed.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and radiation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy or dosimetry.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and dosimetry software.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
