This role supports the design, analysis, and administration of compensation and benefits programs across the U.S. workforce, while contributing to coordination of select international programs. You will help ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business priorities, while delivering a strong employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCompensationConduct job evaluations, market pricing, and benchmarkingSupport salary structure maintenance and annual merit review cyclesAssist with administration of incentive programsProvide analysis and insights to support pay decisionsBenefitsSupport administration of U.S. benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement, leave)Assist with open enrollment and employee communicationsCoordinate with brokers, vendors, and administratorsSupport compliance activities, including ERISA and ACA requirementsTotal Rewards & OperationsPartner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation and benefitsSupport reporting, audits, and governance processesContribute to process improvements and data integrity initiativesAssist with coordination of international benefits programsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field4–7+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewardsWorking knowledge of U.S. benefits and compensation practicesFamiliarity with ERISA, ACA, and compliance requirementsStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilityAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and annual incentive eligibilityComprehensive health, wellness, and retirement benefitsGenerous paid time off and leave programsCareer development opportunitiesInclusive, safety-focused work environmentWhere you’ll be workingRio Tinto Borates is a global leader in industrial mineral supply and science.
