Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

• Assist the Store Manager in leading, training, and developing store staff.
• Supervise daily operations and ensure team members are following policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to sales associates, encouraging high performance and teamwork.

Customer Service:

• Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support staff in providing knowledgeable and helpful assistance to customers.
• Promote a positive shopping experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.

Sales & Inventory Management:

• Assist in achieving store sales targets through effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the Store Manager.

Operational Duties:

• Assist with opening and closing the store, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee cash handling and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Help set up promotional displays, manage store layouts, and ensure merchandise is attractively presented.

Reporting & Administration:

• Assist the Store Manager in preparing sales reports and analyzing performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Experience in the footwear industry is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Personal Attributes:

• Positive attitude with a passion for retail and customer service.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and bending/reaching for merchandise

Salary

$20 - $22 per hour
