Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 4 Central Medicine unit, specializing in medical and telemetry care. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical diagnoses.The 4 Central Medicine unit encompasses 17 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Our team receives patients from multiple sources including the Emergency Department, Medical ICU, clinics, outside hospitals, and nursing facilities. The unit handles a diverse range of medical conditions such as:Diabetes managementSickle cell crisisCOPD exacerbationsEnd-stage renal disease (ESRD) with pulmonary hypertensionWound careManagement of drains and tubesShifts: Day shifts (3x12-hour, 07:00 - 19:00)Contract Duration: 13 weeksHours: Option for 36 or 48 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidaysTime Off: Time off around Christmas is not approved; however, 40 hours off can be approved during the contract.BLS certification preferred; ACLS certification preferred but not requiredExperience with Epic electronic medical record system is requiredMust be able to adhere to the float policy in placeVirginia nursing license must be obtained, pending applications will be consideredIf you are passionate about providing high-quality nursing care and meet the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity to make a difference in our patients' lives.Client Details State VA
