Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Florence, SC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of a 396-bed acute care hospital
• Float to all hospital departments within scope of practice as needed to meet facility demands, including Labor and Delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support in high-acuity settings
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling
• Document patient care using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required; recent critical care experience required
• RRT credential (NBRC) required — CRT candidates will not be considered
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Experience floating across multiple hospital departments including Labor and Delivery
• Familiarity with high-volume, acute care hospital environments
