WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high-performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Newton, MA. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Function :

• Rotating Shift.
• 3x12.
• Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care
• Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring , including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity
• Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition
• Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately
• Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection-control standards
• Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care

Job Requirements:

• Active RN License (state-specific)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS - Required
• ACLS - Required
• Labor & Delivery experience required
• Minimum 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
