Quality Inspector - Automotive Manufacturing

Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Pay: $14,$14.50, $15 per hour
Available Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is hiring Quality Inspectors for a major automotive manufacturing operation in the Tuscaloosa area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced team responsible for ensuring automotive parts meet strict quality and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Visually inspect automotive parts and components for defects
• Identify issues such as scratches, dents, cracks, incorrect assembly, or other quality concerns
• Sort and contain parts according to established quality standards
• Perform light rework when instructed
• Use basic measuring tools, gauges, or inspection equipment as required
• Accurately document inspection results and report defects
• Follow written work instructions and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Meet production and quality expectations throughout the shift
• Follow all company and facility safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, automotive, quality inspection, or warehouse experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts when required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to lift up to [XX] pounds
• Ability to work around machinery, noise, and changing temperatures
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
