Our Lady of Tepeyac High School, an all-girls Catholic high school in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, is seeking a passionate and student-centered Math teacher to join our growing academic team for the 2026–2027 school year.
As a proud member of the Archdiocese of Chicago and Big Shoulders Fund Plus, Our Lady of Tepeyac is committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and leadership development for young women. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who values relationship-based teaching, rigorous but supportive instruction, and helping students build confidence in mathematics and STEM-related fields.
Teaching Assignment
- Pre-Calculus
- Honors Algebra II
- Geometry (Honors & College Prep)
- STEM or Math-Based Elective Course
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working with a range of learners while also supporting advanced students in honors-level coursework and real-world problem solving.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered math instruction
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and varying proficiency levels
- Foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical confidence
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom culture rooted in high expectations and care
- Lead a small student Formation group focused on personal growth and leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in school life
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Illinois teaching certification required
- Prior experience strongly perferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Catholic education and the holistic development of young women
- Completion of Archdiocese safe environment requirements
Compensation
Full-Time
Salary Starting at: $48,000 (commensurate with experience)
