Infusion Nurse

The Infusion Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and administering infusion therapies across multiple practice locations. This role includes clinical assessment, patient education, medication administration, and comprehensive coordination of pre-infusion requirements such as authorizations, laboratory review, and patient assistance programs. The Infusion Nurse may also provide clinical support within the practice on non-infusion days. This position requires strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a multi-site environment This position is designated as an on-site, patient-facing role. In-office presence is an essential function due to the need for real-time collaboration with providers, direct interaction with patients and caregivers, and secure handling of health data in compliance with HIPAA. Current BLS certification and ACLS preferred. Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (infusion or specialty practice experience preferred). Experience with prior authorizations and payer requirements strongly preferred. Strong IV skills and knowledge of infusion protocols and aseptic technique. Proficient in EMR documentation. Ability to work independently and travel between sites. Reaching, grabbing, holding – fine motor skills Extended periods in a stationary or standing position Repetitive motion such as entering data into computer-based programs Lift or move up to 25 pounds. Employees are expected to use appropriate ergonomics and tools such as hand carts for heavier loads. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
