Machine Operator/Extrusion OperatorManufacturing/ProductionSalary: $18.16 Per HourResponsibilities:Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to process instructions and safety guidelines.Inspect products for defects. Perform quality checks and verify correct gauge for various product types.Make machine adjustments based on process documentation to maintain efficiency and product quality.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, practice good housekeeping in all assigned areas.Respond to line calls and assist co-workers.Provide training and mentorship to new hires and current associates.Promptly report any safety, hygiene, quality, or production issues to the supervisor.Adhere to all company policies and safety standards.Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.Excellent attendance for scheduled shifts and meetings.Candidate Requirements:Minimum 1 year of continuous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to follow standard work instructions and operate with consistency.Experience using measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges) is a plus but is not required.Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to take initiative.Completion of Foams Extrusion Operator Associate I training packet within 90 days of hire.
