Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director position within a hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This contract role is expected to last 3+ months, with a prompt start date. The ideal candidate will possess hospital pharmacy leadership experience and be prepared to manage inpatient pharmacy operations, including staffing responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of inpatient pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage pharmacy staff scheduling, recruitment, and staffing to maintain optimal department functionality.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to enhance pharmacy services and patient care.
- Ensure accurate medication dispensing, inventory control, and quality assurance in the inpatient setting.
- Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy personnel, fostering professional development and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Massachusetts pharmacy license.
- Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management, particularly inpatient services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and staff pharmacy teams effectively.
- Strong references required; preference given to candidates who have previously worked with the staffing agency.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
