Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Lee Co, MS, is seeking an Accountant to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!


Accountant Job Summary:

• Pay: Salaried Position
• Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: M-F 8am-5pm -Quarterly Audit Overtime once per quarter

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger entries
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting activities
• Reconcile accounts, including inventory and work-in-process (WIP)
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation
• Partner with operations and management to improve financial processes
• All other duties as assigned by our customer

Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
• Manufacturing accounting experience (required)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
