Work Environment\n

This is a remote position with a supportive community health clinic backdrop, allowing healthcare professionals to work from home while also engaging directly with clients in the community. You will collaborate with diverse teams, focusing on communication and collaboration to ensure client-centered care is at the forefront of everything we do. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting a work-life balance that is conducive to both professional responsibilities and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Cohesive Family Psychotherapy Center, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients experiencing major mental illnesses and emotional disorders, providing evidence-based interventions both in the community and through telehealth options.

  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to establish and achieve overarching community health goals.
  • \n
  • Nurture collaborative relationships with diverse populations, catering to various traditions and beliefs while demonstrating cultural competence.
  • \n
  • Navigate organizational and financial structures to facilitate patient access to necessary services.
  • \n
  • Adhere to professional ethical standards, ensuring that all interactions uphold the integrity of our practice.
  • \n
  • Conduct timely screenings and assessments, utilizing clinical judgment to determine the appropriate course of treatment, and develop tailored care plans.
  • \n
  • Provide an array of services, including individual, group, and family therapy, aimed at short-term interventions and long-term recovery.
  • \n
  • Respond to crises effectively and provide necessary interventions following best practices.
  • \n
  • Maintain communication with clients’ families and other service providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
  • \n
  • Monitor the progress of clients, maintaining detailed records and submitting reports in a timely manner.
  • \n
  • Participate in call coverage to ensure clients have access to support during and outside of normal program hours as assigned.
  • \n
  • Contribute to committees focused on improving service delivery and enhancing the quality of care provided by our agency.

This role primarily focuses on serving clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with socio-economic challenges, cultural variances, and manifold mental health conditions. The LCSW will provide care to individuals who may often face systemic barriers to accessing mental health services, ensuring that care is both affirming and tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Active LCSW licensure in the state of California.

  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, ideally working with underserved populations.

  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and crisis intervention techniques.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members.

  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effortlessly.

Compensation and Benefits\n
