Hospitalist Physician Needed in Mississippi

Job Description

This role is located in Pascagoula, a prominent industrial hub in Mississippi situated along the Gulf Coast, home to major employers like Ingalls Shipbuilding and the world's largest Chevron refinery. The area boasts an outstanding school system, recognized as the finest in the state.

As a leader in the industry and certified by the Joint Commission, our organization leverages over 40 years of extensive experience to cater to your individual needs, preferences, and aspirations.

Work schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
Daytime shifts only, from 7 AM to 7 PM
No night shifts, as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover those hours
Patient load ranges from 13 to 18
Collaborative team consisting of 2 hospitalists and 2 APPs
Open ICU with support from intensivists
Utilization of Epic electronic medical records system
This is a hospital-employed position
