Practice Info Flagship hospital of Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL Certified Level I Trauma Center and Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center Teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Advanced surgery centers Case assignments include general, ortho, cardiac, pediatrics, OB, and more Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Compensation Salary: $600K Cardiac stipend: $100K Sign-on bonus: $75K Benefits Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Generous paid time off Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule Schedule: Light call Flexible scheduling Qualifications M.D./D.O.
