Job Summary:
Seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department to provide exceptional acute care in a high-volume hospital setting. This role involves delivering comprehensive emergency services on a 13-week assignment with opportunities to work with advanced equipment and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent and emergent care to patients presenting with diverse medical conditions.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EKGs, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose testing.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively with patients and providers.
• Perform advanced procedures including initial resuscitation, trauma care, and stroke management.
• Follow hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain proficiency with Meditech EMR and stay updated on relevant procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with a state-specific license.
• Minimum of 1-year recent acute care hospital ED experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
• Experience with Level 11 Trauma and stroke care preferred.
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and team collaboration skills.
