Customer Experience Associate (Part-Time) Description Provide excellent customer service to drive sales, maintain merchandising standards, and support daily operations at Hope’s Closet while reflecting the mission and values of The Church of Eleven22® and Hope’s Closet®. Responsibilities Drive sales by delivering high-quality customer service. Maintain Hope’s Closet merchandising standards across the sales floor. Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and manage cash handling procedures. Support daily operations related to the customer experience. Assist with store opening and closing procedures. Help lead and collaborate with store staff in daily tasks. Assist with donation receiving and inventory sorting as needed. Maintain organization of inventory and supplies on the sales floor and at the cash wrap. Competencies Model the mission, vision, and core values of The Church of Eleven22. Act as an ambassador for Hope’s Closet. Demonstrated ability to engage in disciple‑making and mentorship. Strong, proactive communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop relationships with customers and store staff. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic retail environment. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Qualifications Education and Experience: 1–2 years of relevant retail or warehouse experience; high school diploma preferred. Position Type and Hours: Part‑time, non‑exempt position reporting to the Assistant Manager – Customer Experience. Days may vary by week; weekend and holiday hours are required. The position may involve participation in church events such as “All‑Skates.” Work Environment: Professional retail setting including sales floor and warehouse/stockrooms. Employees will use cash registers, phones, hand carts, dollies, ladders, rolling carts, and rolling racks. Physical Demands: Must stand or walk on concrete flooring for prolonged periods, bend, lift, grasp, reach, push, and pull materials, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 40 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr The JOY FM
