Machinist Position

HiFyve is hiring a Machinist in the Manufacturing industry in Plymouth, MN!

Pay Rate: $32/hr

Location: Plymouth, MN

Shift: Day Shift 6:30 am to 3 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate one or more machine tools with minimal supervision
• Operate machines efficiently and accurately
• Maintain current setup sheets and program files
• Instruct and support less skilled operators
• Perform finishing work such as deburring and parts washing
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Demonstrate company core values including accountability, integrity, and service excellence

Education Requirements:

Associate degree in Machining with 3–5 years of experience in a general machine shop environment

OR

Equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency using general measuring instruments
• Ability to perform basic machine setups independently
• Understanding of speeds, feeds, and machining fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to train and guide less experienced operators

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling tools and materials
• Occasional walking, talking, and hearing
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Visual acuity including close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
