Project Accountant

Growing project-based professional services organization seeking a Project Accountant with strong industry experience.


IMPORTANT: Candidates without Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering or similar project-driven professional services experience will not be considered.


Must-Have Qualifications

• 5 years of Project Accounting experience
• Must have Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or similar project-based services industry experience
• Extensive experience with:
  • Project billing
  • Revenue recognition
  • Change orders
  • Project financial reviews
  • Project profitability analysis
• Strong partnership experience with Project Managers
• Ability to build credibility and relationships with operations teams
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas)
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality

Preferred

• Architectural or Engineering firm background
• Acumatica experience
• Deltek experience
• WIP reporting experience
• Construction project accounting experience

Compensation: $75K - $95K bonus
