About the Role:
Chatterbox restaurant is looking for a motivated and hardworking Kitchen Staff member to join our team in Long Grove, IL! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced kitchen environment where your skills and dedication truly make a difference. If you love food, teamwork, and a dynamic work setting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist in the cooking and assembly of food items according to recipes and standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times
Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients
Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
Support dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties as needed
Restock kitchen supplies and notify management of low inventory
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

Previous kitchen, food prep, or food service experience preferred
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
Food handler certification is a plus
