Assistant Project Manager Construction

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Attend site walkthroughs, pre-bid meetings, and project inspections
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules
Prepare, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and support field operations
Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Maintain organized project files and logs
License and driving required.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of building restoration, façade work, or waterproofing
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook )
Proficient in Bluebeam (markups, takeoffs, document review)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

1–5 years in construction or project management support
Familiarity with NYC construction and DOB requirements (a plus)
