Fixed Asset Accountant

Our client in Orlando is seeking a direct hire, onsite Fixed Asset Accountant to support the accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of capital assets. This role is responsible for maintaining the fixed asset ledger, reviewing capital project activity, and ensuring timely month‑end and year‑end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with complex asset portfolios. Key Responsibilities Review and classify capital asset transactions Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation Reconcile the fixed asset module to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Review capital project status and ensure proper asset setup Assist with bank reconciliations and interfund journal entries Research accounting guidance for unusual or unique asset‑related transactions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2+ years of experience managing fixed assets Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP accounting systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
