Proven stability, growing sales, and career opportunities, are a few of the factors that set NTN apart.Job DescriptionAd-hoc analytical projects and process creationNegotiate production with plant production control personnel, manage plant purchases to budgetProvides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposalsReviews and executes planned purchases as scheduled in order to ensure effective flow of inventoryWill perform Inventory management analysis necessary to control inventory balances that will meet customer demand without unnecessary carrying costSupport the demand planning process through forecast/alert review and system updatesMonitor back orders and take appropriate action to minimize recurrenceResponsible for recurring replenishment to maintain inventory levels that promote best in class fill rates, including scheduling work orders, transfers and inventory re-worksJob QualificationsDemonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve goalsSolid understanding of inventory management techniques and systemsMust effectively interact with various internal customers, interpersonal skills are criticalProficiency using and pulling information from an ERP such as SAP or JD Edwards preferredProficiency using CRM system such as Sales ForceAbility to analyze and interpret data in order to facilitate decision-makingKnowledge and understanding of Procurement OperationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, General Management, or Industrial Engineering desirable1-3 Years previous experience in Inventory Planning, Logistics, Customer Service or Procurement Operations preferredIntermediate Excel abilities are required, including V-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, IF statements, charts & graph creationThe actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
