About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading the development and implementation of strategic fundraising initiatives. This role involves managing a team of development professionals, cultivating donor relationships, and working closely with senior leadership to support the organization's mission and goals. The Assistant Vice President will also be involved in creating and managing a comprehensive donor stewardship program and ensuring that all fundraising activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President, Development position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising and a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in major gift solicitation, campaign planning, and donor relations. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A strategic and proactive approach to development, as well as a passion for the mission of the organization, is also necessary.
