Physical Therapist - PRN

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our Home Health Department - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.


Position Details

• Status: PRN, non-exempt
• Work Shift: Days
• Hours: Between the hours of 8am-5pm
• Mileage reimbursement and travel within a designated area!

What Your Day Looks Like: Traveling in a designated service area to the homes of patients to provide therapies aimed at improving mobility and recovery. You will manage your own daily schedule of appointments, creating autonomy and flexibility for you in this role.

As a Physical Therapist, you will be:

• Establishing an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Communicating effectively with patients, care team members, physicians, and others
• Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
• Preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, and following procedures to obtain, charge, and restock equipment and supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Experience: New graduates welcome; 1 year of experience preferred
• Skills: Patient care
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts
• Physical: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
