Job Details Specialty: Rehabilitation Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Location: Edwardsville, Illinois Summary The Rehabilitation Nurse (Rehab RN) provides comprehensive care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses that require rehabilitative treatment. This role involves providing nursing assessments, implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safety. Responsibilities Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document in patient records Prepare patients for surgery, including education about procedures and post-operative care Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), following individualized care plans Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapies, document progress, and communicate deviations to the interdisciplinary team Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments with proper documentation and safety compliance Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment Assist with safe patient transport to therapy sessions, procedures, or other care areas as needed Perform other duties within the scope of practice Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards Qualifications Required : One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN Required : Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Required : Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification NIHSS certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Benefits Highly competitive pay for travel professionals Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with first day coverage PTO after 1560 hours Life and Short-term disability offered 401(k) matching Aggressive Refer-a-friend Bonus Program 24/7 recruiter support Reimbursement for licensure and CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr Fusion Medical Staffing
