Housing Repair Technician

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub appThe Housing Repair Technician provides repair and upkeep services in residential hall bedrooms, lounges, and kitchens areas. The schedule is flexible with work performed Monday-Friday between 8:00 and 5:00.Duties/ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for minor repairs, and special projects in all residential halls. General duties include but are not limited to:RepairPerform routine inspection, removal, maintenance, and repair of furniture in residential hall rooms and lounges to ensure functionality and safety.Assist with the organization and upkeep of the furniture repair shop, including managing tools, maintaining inventory of replacement parts, and ensuring work areas are clean and operational.Window BlindsMeasure, purchase, and install window blinds across resident halls.Repair as needed.Maintain inventory.Dry Erase and Bulletin BoardsMeasure, procure, install, and repair dry-erase and bulletin boards throughout residence halls, ensuring proper placement and functionality.RequirementsMinimum Acceptable Education & Experience :H.S.
