About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans to help our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will focus on manually assisted exercises, as well as other modalities to promote healing, strength, and mobility. You will also educate and empower our residents, families, and caregivers to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:
• Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of physical therapy services to residents
• Conduct manual therapy techniques, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities
• Monitor and document resident progress, reporting findings to the supervising physical therapist
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate and empower residents, families, and caregivers to actively participate in the rehabilitation process
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and services provided

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in the state of Florida
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and service to our residents
