Overview Security Guard Location: Olean General Hospital. Location of Job: US:NY:Olean. Work Type: Per-Diem. Shift 2. Responsibilities The Security Guard is the hub of activity, the source of information to patients and visitors and the first contact to the community for requests and inquiries. Proactively seeks to be helpful and ensures any special needs are met. Perform routine rounds and maintain a safe and secure environment at Olean General Hospital properties (interior/exterior). Greet patients and visitors and assist them to their destination. Maintain and enforce parking assignments. Respond to Manpower and Security Assist codes as required. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Education and Credentials: High School graduate or equivalent. Must possess a current Security Guard Registration with the New York Department of State, Division of Licensing Services: Article 7A of The General Business Law. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required with annual refresher courses. BLS required. Working Conditions Department: OGH Security. Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: 15.00.
