Overview
Join our dynamic team in Lenexa, KS, as a Semi Trailer & Diesel Mechanic! We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about keeping our fleet in top shape. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of diesel engines and semi-trailer systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. If you enjoy hands-on work and are committed to delivering quality service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers and diesel engines.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Inspect and test vehicle systems, including brakes, steering, and suspension.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and semi-trailer systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
