Essential Functions Under immediate supervision, and on a temporary basis for a period not to exceed six months, performs a variety of unskilled manual labor and/or simple clerical duties. Monitors an assigned area during the Du Quoin State Fair (DSF). Relieves or covers other assigned stations as instructed, when needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of eight years of elementary school. Preferred Qualifications Prefers experience working with the general public and assisting with general inquiries. Prefers experience maintaining satisfactory working relationships with management, other employees, and members of the public. Prefers experience with understanding and following written and oral instructions. Conditions of Employment Must be able to pass a name-based sex offender registry check. Must be able to work all 11 days of the State Fair, which may include nights and weekends. Must be able to work for up to 8-12 hours a day. Must be at least 18 years old.
