Base pay: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with experience). About The Role Lotus is a premium dining / contemporary Australian restaurant and bar in Highgate. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to take on an operational responsibility for our front-of-house service and floor team. Key responsibilities Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff Ensure compliance with safety and licensing regulations Lotus | Assistant Restaurant Manager Position Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Location: Lotus, Highgate, WA Employment Type: Full-time, permanent (minimum 38 hours per week) Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (commensurate with experience) Key responsibilities Planning and organising the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including service standards and customer experience Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising floor, bar and host staff Ordering and controlling stock, liaising with suppliers and managing supplier accounts Monitoring food and beverage cost of goods, wastage and labour cost against budget Managing takings, daily reconciliation, banking and end-of-shift reporting Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety obligations Handling customer feedback and complaints, and managing bookings and functions Contributing to menu, wine list and promotional planning with the Restaurant Manager, Head Chef and General Manager Skills And Experience Required At least 12 months’ (preferably 2+ years’) full-time relevant experience at management level in a restaurant, hotel or licensed venue AQF Diploma or higher in hospitality or business management, or equivalent experience in lieu of formal qualification Approved Manager’s card / RSA (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) Demonstrated experience in rostering, stock control, cost management and staff supervision Strong communication skills and availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays Applications close 9th September 2026. #J-18808-Ljbffr
