Employbridge is in search of Sitdown Forklift Operators To Join a team in the South Charlotte area

Schedule:

– Day Shift:

• $18.50 per hour
• SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY: 5AM – 5PM 

– Night Shift:

• $19.00 per hour
• SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY 6PM – 4:30AM

Position Overview:

The forklift operator in this facility will be required to unload with the sit-down forklift in a cross dock environment

This position requires safe operation of the forklift and careful unloading from trailers and stacking material. The facility operates like a cross dock and is a very fast-paced environment.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate sit down electric forklift to load/unload freight
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Use RF scanner to track shipments
• Preform shipping and receiving job duties

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Previous sitdown forklift experience is required
• Able to work in a fast paced and cross dock environment 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Able to lift 50lbs
