Commercial Tire Service Technician

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Tire Service Technician for an opportunity in Gulfport, MS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a road service truck and installing truck and industrial tires in a variety of field conditions. This is a physically demanding position that requires someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and not afraid of hard work or challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a road service truck to provide mobile commercial tire services.
• Install, remove, repair, and service truck and industrial tires.
• Perform roadside and on-site tire changes and repairs.
• Safely use tire-changing equipment, tools, jacks, and other service equipment.
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Provide professional and dependable customer service in the field.
• Maintain the service truck, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Work outdoors and in varying weather and job-site conditions.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Perform other duties related to commercial tire service as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing commercial truck and/or industrial tires required.
• Experience operating a road service truck strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely install and service large truck and industrial tires.
• Insurable driving record is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Must be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and sometimes difficult conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and tires.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
