Location: Oakland & Wayne Counties, Michigan

Service Area: Field-based position with assignments throughout Oakland County, Wayne County, and surrounding communities.

We are hiring a dependable Field Operations & Property Maintenance Specialist to support our growing portfolio of residential properties, renovation projects, and customer locations throughout Metro Detroit.

This is more than a maintenance position. We need a trusted field representative: someone who can receive an assignment, assess the situation, complete the work, coordinate people when necessary, and report back to the office. You do not need to know every trade. We provide training, tools, and resources. What matters is reliability, resourcefulness, mechanical ability, and a willingness to take responsibility.

What You Will Do

Assignments are dispatched through our company app and may include:

• Performing residential maintenance and repair work
• Supporting renovation and rehabilitation projects
• Responding to tenant service requests and troubleshooting problems at propertie
• Inspecting properties and documenting conditions
• Coordinating laborers and subcontractors, and verifying that work is completed correctly
• Picking up and organizing materials, supplies, and equipment
• Keeping job sites clean, safe, secured, and organized
• Photographing and documenting completed work in the mobile app
• Reporting problems, material needs, delays, and unexpected conditions to management
• Researching unfamiliar tasks and learning new repair and installation methods
• Following company procedures and safety requirements

This is a working field position. One day you may coordinate several workers on a renovation; the next you may complete repairs yourself at a rental property. When an assignment calls for hands-on work through the entire shift, you should be comfortable doing it.

Experience

Candidates should have previous experience in at least one hands-on field: property maintenance, construction, remodeling, facilities, apartment maintenance, building operations, automotive or mechanical work, warehouse operations, or field service. Experience supervising or coordinating other workers is a plus. We will train the right person who demonstrates mechanical ability, responsibility, and the ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Comfort with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physical work throughout a full shift, including safely lifting and moving common construction and maintenance materials
• Willingness to wear required work clothing and personal protective equipment
• Smartphone proficiency
• Ability to travel between properties in Farmington Hills, Detroit, and surrounding communities
• Professional communication with management, tenants, customers, and other workers
