Travel Physical Therapist - $1,819 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Freeport, Maine. Overview The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient specific needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist designs functional treatment programs aimed at facilitating an effective return to community activities, while serving as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and oneself. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve rehabilitation goals. Document clinical findings and treatment notes in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines. Provide care under valid physician orders, ensuring services are within insurance approvals and necessary for clinical care of patients. Participate as a clinical educator for students in the therapy program, fostering a positive learning environment and conducting student evaluations. Engage in professional development activities such as continuing education and self‑study to stay current in the field. Maintain compliance with the discipline‑specific State Practice Act and uphold professional standards in ethical behavior and code of conduct. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance quality of services. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active Physical Therapist license in good standing for the state where work will be performed. Previous experience with Select Medical is preferred but not mandatory.
