Job Description:

Glens Falls Hospital's Outpatient Infusion Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with oncology experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a comfortable outpatient setting, administering a variety of infusion therapies and managing patient education. Experience with IV Antibiotics, Antifungal, Steroids, Blood Transfusions, Central Venous Access Devices, PICC lines, and specialty medications such as Remicade, Remsima, Inflectra, Orencia, and others is required.


Responsibilities include administering treatments, maintaining infusion devices, educating patients on medication administration, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Qualifications:

• Valid NY State RN license
• Experience in oncology infusion therapy
• Epic EMR experience required
• De-escalation training completed (Welle, CPI, or PMCS)
• Ability to complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Upload your NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with your candidate profile to be considered

Please note:

• COVID vaccinations encouraged but not required
• All new and returning staff must have completed de-escalation training by 1/1/24
• RTO requests should be noted at upload; more than 5 days will not be accepted
• Personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons), no hoodies
• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
• Cancellation policy: Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
